Blas Perez

All i have to say is, THANK GOD WE HAVE BLAS PEREZ ON FC DALLAS

Texas Derby

After a huge season opener win against the NYRB all seemed promising for the upcoming season. Then something happend, something changed, what was it? TROUBLE! Some even would say the "Soccer gods" are mad at us, others would say this just isn't our season. No matter what you believe we can all come to the same conclusion, this season has been... rough.... a few highs, a lot of lows. Its been hard to stay positive with all the key injuries, the cards, and more importantly the results. Its easy to get frustrated, but one thing i LOVE about the FC Dallas fans is they stick to the team no matter what. the past few weeks the MLS has had a break, a chance for the FCD family to take a break, rest and more importantly heal. The next match would be to our in state rivals the Houston Dynamo. Its no secret that the Texas Derby to FCD and Dynamo fans is much more than a "game", its bragging rights. For FCD it was a chance to start a change, turn things around. hoping to get many starters back unfortunately, that didn't happen either.... the full time result was Dynamo 2 FCD 1. I dont want to dwell on the score line or the event that changed the game. i want to talk about something i saw that i havent seen in a while. This FCD team showed heart, pride and passion. Dont let this result fool you, this FCD team is not done. From what i saw the other night the boys are still in this fight. Call me crazy, call me whatever you want but, FCD still has a chance to make the playoffs this year. Bold statement? Maybe so. However, personally i have faith in this team and so should you. Yes i could go on an on about the standings, injury status and cards but im not. Bottom line is that there is still a lot of season left to play and still turn things around. So show up saturday and support this club, stand ( dont sit down ) and cheer.
